Greenfield 'Exploration'
By combining Dynamics AX Financial Management with Dynamics AX Physicals Management for drill hole planning and reporting of test results, a mining company can make one of the wisest investments in their ERP roadmap, by providing a foundation for operations that can simply grow as the mine does.

Greenfield 'Feasibility'
If a mine already had the core foundation of Dynamics AX for Finance and Physicals, in this stage they could simply add the Dynamics AX Reliability Management solution for Maintenance, HRM and OH&S. The HRM software licence is already included in the core foundation Financial Management Pack and can be turned on at any time.
If the mine has been using an off-the-shelf accounting package, at this stage they could simply install the Dynamics AX Finance, Physicals and Reliability Management solution elements of the "AX for Mining" solution.
Brownfield 'Early Production'
If the mine is simply upgrading from the Dynamics "AX for Mining" solution already implemented in the Feasibility Phase, then at this time the implementation of the Dynamics AX Workforce Management elements can be completed - adding Payroll and Rostering to compliment the HRM and OH&S already installed in the Reliability Management solution.
If installing Dynamics "AX for Mining" for the first time, then the mine simply implements the AX elements for Finance, Physicals, Reliability and Workforce Management solutions.
